Outreach and Enrollment Specialist:

STATUS: Full-time

DESCRIPTION:  Wabash Valley Health Center has an opening for an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist.  This person assists consumers in obtaining eligibility entitlements and health benefits. This person will assist consumers with case follow to maintain health coverage. This person will maintain current knowledge of insurance options within Marketplace and Medicaid.  This person will also participate in outreach events within the community.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

​

• Clerical experience in a medical office setting desired.

• Currently certified by the state Navigator program.

• Currently certified by Application Counselor program.

• Minimum 2 years experience working as a certified Navigator.

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and applies knowledge of principles of comprehensive, community based, culturally sensitive care coordination.

• Familiarity with medical/dental terminology is preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours (occasional evening/weekend events).
