Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA):

DESCRIPTION:  Wabash Valley Health Center has an opening for a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.  This person provides clinical assistance to patients, providers and staff of the healthcare team within our Federally Qualified Health Center.

​

QUALIFICATIONS: 

​

• Graduate of an accredited program for clinical certified medical assistants required.

• Current clinical medical assistant certification required.

• One  (1) year of experience in a similar setting preferred.

• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients and providers.

• Flexible in work schedule to meet the demands of the department.

• CPR certification required.

• Previous experience working with Athena Practice (formerly named Centricity).

​

Requires critical thinking, organization, decisive judgement, analytical abilities, problem solving, effective communication and good customer service skills. Must be able to function collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
