Mark D. Crowley, M.D. is the Chief Medical Officer for Wabash Valley Health Center. Dr. Crowley has practiced as an Internal Medicine and Cardiology physician for over 30 years. During his years of practice, Dr. Crowley worked as an attending physician in Emergency Room as well as in private practice. He has extensive experience in academics, including teaching and training medical students, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.

Dr. Crowley is a retired Colonel from the Medical Corp in the United States Army Reserve. During his service he was mobilized for Operation Desert Storm, Operation Joint Endeavor, Iraqi Freedom, Operation Joint Forge, served as Brigade Internist Eagle Base Tuzla in in Bosnia-Herzegovina and staff Cardiologist at Landstuhl Regional Hospital in Germany.

Dr. Crowley’s distinct background provides him with the knowledge and experience to guide patients in becoming successful in managing their medical issues. He enjoys working with patients to manage high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol levels, and heart disease to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Crowley enjoys family time, scuba diving, hiking and camping, and watching dirt track auto racing.

Jessy Woods, M.D. is an Internal Medicine and Pediatric physician at Wabash Valley Health Center and has practiced for over 13 years.  

Dr. Woods joined Wabash Valley Health Center in 2020.  

Dr. Woods is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Indiana State Medical Association.  

She enjoys reading, hiking, and flower gardening. She looks forward to caring for you and your family.

Melinda Hendrix, FNP-C is a Nurse Practitioner at Wabash Valley Health Center. Melinda has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2016 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Hendrix joined Wabash Valley Health Center in 2019. Her nursing career began in 2009, as a Student Nurse at Union Hospital. She then moved onto Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital as a Registered Nurse caring for patients in Progressive Care, Intensive Care, Emergency Room, and various medical units.  Previously she was a Family Nurse Practitioner at Indiana University Health Arnett. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and educating them on healthy lifestyles.   

Hendrix is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana (CAPNI).

Melinda enjoys outdoor activities and traveling with her husband.

Andrew Mathis, PA-C is a Physician Assistant at Wabash Valley Health Center. Andrew has been a Physician Assistant since 2015 and earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Indiana State University in May of 2015.

Mathis joined Wabash Valley Health Center in the fall of 2015. He enjoys working with people who are interested in their health and desire to improve upon it, as well as helping people maintain their current level of health.

He is passionate about caring for all walks of life, all ages, and all situations.

Mathis is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA).

He enjoys the outdoors, building things, and loves to travel with his wife and daughter. He looks forward to caring for you and your family.

Katie Sanders, FNP-C is a Nurse Practitioner at Wabash Valley Health Center. Katie has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2019 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Sanders joined Wabash Valley Health Center in 2022. Her nursing career began in 2015 as a Registered Nurse at Regional Hospital working in the Emergency Room. Previously she was a Family Nurse Practitioner at Union Medical Group Convenient Care. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and helping them reach their healthy lifestyle goals.   

Sanders is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and has received training as a Trauma Nurse.

Katie enjoys taking spontaneous adventures with her husband and spending time with her family and friends. Her happy place is the beach.
