Billing Specialist:

STATUS: Full-time Monday - Friday

DESCRIPTION:  Wabash Valley Health Center has an opening for a Billing Specialist.  This person will be responsible for billing of patient and insurance balances.  This person functions as an independent and interdependent member of the healthcare team within our Federally Qualified Health Center.

​

QUALIFICATIONS: 

​

• Billing knowledge to include familiarity with FQHC billing requirements preferred.

• Must be capable of dealing with persons of diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.

• Previous experience with Centricity Practice Management Solutions preferred.

• Flexible in work schedule as needed to meet the needs of the clinic.

Requires critical thinking, organization, decisive judgment, analytical abilities, problem solving, effective communication and good customer service skills.  Must be able to function collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
